Hangul (한글) Recognition exercise 1

Go to the Multimedia Dictionary and work on Sino-Korean numbers (Category #28)1-10.

  1. Find the numbers which have the same vowel sound --there are two groups of numbers as such between 1 and 10, and try to find the Korean vowel letter that represents the vowel sound that is shared in each group.
  2. Find a group of numbers between 1-10 that end in the same consonant and try to find a Korean consonant letter that represents the final consonant sound.
  3. Find a group of numbers between 1-10 that begin with the same consonant and try to find a Korean consonant letter that represents the intial consonant sound.
  4. Find what the numbers 1, 2, 5, and 6 have in common in sound and in the Korean representation.
  5. Find what the numbers 2, 5, and 9 have in common in sound.
